To reach Gold, Platinum or Diamond tiers, you'll need to do two things:
- Earn points: Each tier has a certain number of points that you'll need to reach in order to get access to that tier's rewards. You earn points by completing trips.
- Keep your rating to 4.85 or above and cancellation rate to 3% or below.

To get your Uber Cash, you'll first need to link your card(s) to your Uber account. To do this, head to your wallet on the Uber app and add your Amex Gold and/or Amex Platinum as a payment method. If you have both of these cards (as I do), the two monthly credits will be combined into your total Uber Cash balance.
