Requesting a Lyft XL ride will pair you up with a larger vehicle that can fit up to five passengers. On the map screen, toggle over to 'XL' and tap 'Request XL.

If your car seats six or more passengers, you're eligible to become an XL driver and make more money. XL rides have a higher rate, which varies by region. You can check your city's rate card in your Dashboard under the 'Account' tab in the app.
