Some aren't ADSB equipped. They won't show up. Some don't transmit their position. These can be located using a process of called multilateration, but it needs the same signals to be picked up by three or more receivers connected to FR24.
How do you see helicopters on FlightRadar?
If a helicopter has an ADS-B transponder installed and switched on, it will be visible on the real-time map as a little yellow helicopter shape, along with all other aircraft that have transponders on (aeroplanes have different shapes).
