Do they check your Railcard?
Yes. You must show your valid Railcard when you buy your ticket. You also need to have your Railcard with you on each journey and present it to staff when your ticket is checked aboard the train.

Can I change my digital Railcard photo?
How can I update my photograph? If your appearance has changed and your photograph no longer resembles you, you can arrange to have your photograph updated. There is a £10 administration fee for this. Please call our Railcard helpline on 0345 030 4100.
Can I use my Railcard for someone else?
Can I use my railcard to buy a ticket for someone else? Many railcards allow you to buy tickets for people who are travelling with you. You cannot buy tickets with a railcard discount and give them to someone who will be travelling alone without a railcard.
Do I need a photo for a digital senior Railcard?
You will be asked to provide either a passport or driving licence number or EEA National Identity Card and you will also need to provide a digital passport-style photo if you have selected 'Digital' under 'Choose the type of Railcard you would like' section.
