Buying your Weekly Season Ticket for the first time? Make sure you have a Photocard to use as proof of ID. If you don't have a Photocard, you can either request one free of charge from us by filling in this form or take a passport-sized photo to your local ticket office and they'll make you one for free.

Do you need a photo for a monthly Travelcard?

You can collect your monthly season ticket onto your smartcard after two hours at your nominated station on a smartcard reader. A National Rail Photo ID is required when travelling with your smartcard and should be presented when requested. Your local station can create one for you if you provide a passport photo.
