If you opt to go through regular TSA security, you will need to remove your cat from their carrier when you get to the front of the line.
Do they weigh your pet at the airport?
Yes! When you check in with your pet you will be required to weigh your pet, already in the carrier. The carrier will also be measured to make sure it matches allowed dimensions to be in the cabin. Be sure to be 100% clear on the allowances of the airline before you are ready to check into your flight.
