Toremolinos is much like Bournemouth and many other seaside towns i.e. a flat beach area backed by a cliff. on which the town and shops stand. The beach areas are Bajondillo and Carihuela (both of course flat at beach level) but there is a lift from Bajondillo to the top of the cliff which is then pretty flat.
