Does Zone 2 burn fat?
Yes, but only as part of a wider fitness and nutrition routine. When in Zone 2, your body leaps on fat as its primary fuel source, rather than carbohydrates. This means that you're burning more of your calories from stored fat, which can lead to a slimmer waistline.
Is Zone 3 cardio better than Zone 2?
The latter is a major benefit of Zone 2 running, true aerobic running will make you a better fat burner. Zone 3 running will leave you burning a mixture of carbs and fat, never making you super efficient at being a carb burner or fat burner! Simply put, your hard days should be hard!
