There is NO limit to what size or quantity of liquids you can take in your checked (hold) luggage – as long as the liquids are not prohibited. If the suitcase you refer to is going to be checked in, you don't need to put your liquids in a 20x20cm bag and you don't need to worry about keeping them under the 100ml limit.
