What is the difference between Uber and Uberxl?
An UberX car must be able to accommodate four (4) passengers. Typically, the vehicle must have at least four doors. An Uber XL-approved vehicle must be able to transport six (6) or more passengers.

How do I choose Uber XL?
Open the app and enter your destination in the "Where to?" box. Once you confirm your pickup and destination addresses are correct, select UberXL at the bottom of your screen. Then tap Confirm UberXL.
Can UberXL fit a couch?
Uber XL is usually a minivan or large SUV, so whatever you can fit in it. They're supposed to have room for 6 people with luggage but aren't obligated to take furniture. You might want to request one, then call the driver and explain what you are trying to do.
Is Uber Assist more expensive?
You won't get charged more for an Uber Assist — it's the same price as a standard UberX ride. However, you may have a longer wait time, as there tend to be fewer drivers certified for Uber Assist.
