There are no restrictions on the carriage of liquids. Neither liquids nor electronic need to be removed from your luggage prior to passing through x-ray machines. It is perfectly safe to carry your photographic equipment through security.
Can you bring drinks on the NYC Ferry?
We ask that you finish your beverage prior to leaving. Alcoholic beverages can only be sold (1) per I.D. at a time with a limit of (2) drinks per passenger. No outside food or beverages shall be consumed on board NYC Ferry vessels at any time.
What you can’t take on a ferry?
Foot passengers cannot transport firearms, ammunition or any other item considered to be a dangerous weapon, such as bows and arrows, knives (including chef's knives) swords etc, on board our vessels.
