While your card isn't required to access Global Entry kiosks at the airport, there are other scenarios in which you'll need it. If you plan to take advantage of Global Entry's access to NEXUS or SENTRI, your Global Entry card will be required.
How do I use my Global Entry card at the airport?
Type the PASSID and Security Code (numeric portion only) from the back of your card and click Next. Global Entry cards have a radio frequency identification chip which enables their use at SENTRI and NEXUS expedited travel lanes entering the U.S.
Why is my TSA PreCheck not on my boarding pass?
If you are unclear why you are not receiving the TSA PreCheck® indicator on your boarding pass, first check that your membership has not expired by looking up your KTN (Known Traveler Number) here. If your KTN is still active, confirm with your airline that your KTN, name, and date of birth are accurate.
Is PreCheck included in Global Entry?

Where is my KTN on my Global Entry card?
This nine-digit number usually begins with 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 50, 70, 80, 95, 98, or 99 and can be found on the back of your NEXUS, SENTRI, or Global Entry card in the upper-left corner or by logging on to the Trusted Traveler Programs website.
Does Global Entry override TSA?
Even if you already have TSA PreCheck, you must apply for Global Entry separately. There is no way to get an automatic upgrade from TSA PreCheck to Global Entry.
