Log into your flight reservation under the "Traveler Info" section and add your KTN there. You must have been approved for TSA PreCheck before you booked the flight in order for it to be used during a trip.
Does TSA PreCheck work for flights already booked?
You can also add TSA PreCheck to your existing reservation on American Airlines. To do so, click on "Manage Trip" for each reservation.
Does my KTN need to be on my boarding pass?
A Known Traveler Number (KTN) is issued to all individuals approved to receive TSA PreCheck® expedited screening. The KTN must be added in the KTN field when booking airline travel reservations to have the TSA PreCheck® indicator appear on your boarding pass.
Can I add a KTN after booking Delta?
With Global Entry, your CBD PASSID serves as your Known Traveler Number. Please provide this number when booking your flights or add it to the Basic Info section in your Delta profile. You can also add it to existing trips that you already booked in My Trips.
How long are KTN numbers good for?

Can you add known traveler number after booking southwest?
Add your KTN through the “Add Secure Traveler Information” webpage. Type in the confirmation number for your flight, along with the first and last name that you used for your flight reservation. From there, you can add your KTN to your previously booked flight.

ACT NOW before your known traveler number (KTN) expires. That's right, your TSA Pre✓® eligibility expires after five years. So if you want to keep enjoying your member benefits, renew now before your membership lapses. The renewal fee is $85.
Does your known traveler number change when you renew?
Yes. Members will keep the same KTN during the renewal process.
Can I add my TSA PreCheck to an existing reservation United?
Go to Reservations on united.com. Go to Change or view reservations. Select Manage Trip for the appropriate ticket. Find "Known traveler number/Redress" and select Edit.
