Can you tan in Mexico in November?
You can certainly burn in Mexico in Nov-Dec and we have seen it happen. We did not stay in Playa Mujeres this past December, but in the Riviera Maya and we brought plenty of SPF 30 and over that we used all the time during the day. I still tanned.

In the Caribbean, seaweed season is generally May to October. The worst time for seaweed in Cancun, the Dominican Republic and much of the Caribbean is during the summer months.
How often is Cancun hit with hurricanes?
Cancun's rainy season starts in June and can run through to November, with the wettest months being September and October. While hurricanes are possible over this time period, the risk is extremely low in Cancun, where only two hurricanes have made landfall in the last 35 years.
