How do I request Uber for someone else in a different location?

How it works

1. Open your app. Tap to open the app, then tap Where to?
2. Choose the rider. Above the address box, you'll see a scroll-down option where you can make your selection.
3. Sit back and relax.

How do I request an Uber for more than one person?

Request. Open the app and enter your destination in the "Where to?" box. Once you confirm your pickup and destination addresses are correct, select UberXL at the bottom of your screen. Then tap Confirm UberXL.

Can I call Uber for my friends?

If you choose a pickup location that is different to where you are, the Uber app will ask if the ride is for a family member or friend. Choose their name, detail the destination and ask for a ride for them.

Can I request an Uber for someone else in a different city?
